Handmade Sleigh Bed Frame
Our made-to-order Norman sleigh bed is the epitome of traditional decor. Louis Philippe-style moulding dates back to the mid-19th century when furnishings were lavish yet somewhat simple. A deep, hand-rubbed finish brings warmth and elegance into the space, while intricate carvings add stylish flair. The real wood bed frame is available in four standard sizes, all of which accept your mattress and box spring set on dovetailed slats.Customize your Norman Bed and matching case goods when you complete the online options menu. To recreate the look as shown, choose a smooth Brown Maple hardwood topped in our Earthstone wood finish. The sleigh bed will be top coated with an industry-leading catalyzed conversion varnish.

We bought the king size bed frame as an upgrade from a previous queen sized IKEA bed frame and wanted to match the frame to a hardwood dresser and night table that I already owned, but the previous company had gone out of business years ago. Countryside Amish was very accommodating and let us order more wood samples than usual so that we could try and match the wood type and stain to my current furniture. We ended up finding a near-perfect match and ordered the bed and one matching night table and a chest of drawers for my husband. The workmanship is lovely, the bed frame feels incredibly sturdy, and all the drawers are soft-close and smooth inside so you can put bed linens in them without snagging! We're very happy with this purchase.
Amazon quality
Looked forever for quality bedroom furniture and THIS IS IT. So well done and beautifully made. Totally worth the wait. We LOVE it.
Beautiful
The quality of this bed is great and it has so much storage. It doesn’t require a box spring and we are really enjoying that it’s not too high in consequence. Just a great purchase.
It's perfect in so many ways
We have thinking about getting a cabinet bed for years and Countryside offered the highest quality bed with the best price. They also offered so many different options, colors, wood, and finish. They were also one of the few companies offering a King sized bed, which is the one we selected. It's beautiful and functional. The delivery process was smooth and they maintained contact all the way through the process. Great customer service and quality made products.
This furniture well exceed my expectations. The wood is beautiful! Well worth the wait and cost!!
Beautiful wood, very happy

Fantastic Furniture
So glad we ordered from Countryside! The Cheraw bed is beautiful, simple, well constructed, and absolutely timeless. The wood and stain choices were fantastic.
The site was simple and the ordering process, painless. The communication and delivery were on point. Countryside has made it easy and met all our expectations.
We will be ordering the matching nightstands in the near future and potentially many more rooms of furniture over the next year or so.
We recommend Countryside to everyone!
Thanks!
Thank you! I've attached a photo of the bedroom with the Rustic Walnut set.
Excellent Craftsmanship
My husband and I purchased the entire Alpine Bedroom set (King bed frame, dresser with mirror, two nightstands, and chest) shortly after our honeymoon in 2017. It's been three years now and we've survived a big move to Germany this summer and still, we are commenting on how this was the best purchase of furniture we've made! Being a surgeon who also is highly skilled and knowledgeable in woodworking himself, my husband is thoroughly impressed by the quality, design, and superior craftsmanship of the furniture. You just can't find this kind of quality and work in a regular furniture store!
