Can I pair my four poster bed frame with coordinating dressers and bedroom furniture?

Our four poster beds often anchor full bedroom furniture sets (listed on the product pages), all sharing similar design elements. Even if your favorite four poster bed frame isn't available as part of a formalized set, our team can show multiple examples of dressers, cheffrobes, and other bedroom staples that closely align with the chosen aesthetic.

Can I modify the height of the bed’s four posts?

At Countryside Amish Furniture, every four poster bed is meticulously crafted to order, granting us the flexibility to accommodate unique requests beyond the standard customization options listed. Whether you desire alterations in post height, tailored designs to fit specialty mattresses, integration of convenient storage drawers, or the application of specialty stains, we're dedicated to bringing your vision to life. These are just a few examples of the possibilities we can explore together. Reach out to us via Live Chat or give us a call to delve deeper into personalizing your four poster bed. Through our consultation, we'll assess the feasibility of your desired changes and ensure your ultimate satisfaction with the final product.

What is a four poster bed?

A four-poster bed is known for its large and commanding style. It typically includes a headboard, footboard and four high posts on the bed’s four corners.

Are four poster beds still in style?

Yes, four-poster beds are similar in style and concept to canopy beds but are updated for more modern needs. The four posts still remain to appeal to our love of traditional design, without the voluminous canopy or curtains.

What’s the difference between a four post bed and a canopy bed?

They still give master bedrooms a luxurious aesthetic, but they don’t require the upkeep of the canopy drapes.
