Which does “Amish” describe—the craftspeople who build the desk, or the woodworking style?

When we say your home office corner desk is “Amish,” we’re referring to the craftspeople who build it and the skills they bring to the bench. Our makers use proven methods—precision joinery, hand-selected solid wood, careful sanding and finishing, and meticulous fitting of drawers and storage—to deliver lasting strength and smooth function. While many of our L-shaped desks reflect the classic look often associated with Amish furniture, we also offer modern, chic designs. Big or small, ornately carved or streamlined, every wooden corner desk embodies the exacting craftsmanship and attention to detail that define Amish-made furniture.

What should I expect from the delivery process?

Once your solid wood corner desk is close to completion by our Amish furniture makers, we’ll reach out to you to schedule a day and time for delivery. Our team will then bring the L-shaped desk directly to your home or office, positioning in the precise spot you want it. If there’s any additional setup required, we’ll take care of that on your behalf. Best of all, we do all of this for a flat rate of $150 per order, no matter how many pieces you choose to order.

Can I make special requests for my L-shaped desk?

Absolutely! Whether you're looking to alter the corner desk's storage setup, incorporate LED lighting into the hutch, include locks, opt for two-tone staining, or adjust the overall measurements, our Amish artisans are dedicated to exceeding your expectations. To get started, reach out to the Countryside Amish Furniture team whichever you prefer so we can clarify the specifics of your future L-shaped desk.
